JUSTICE
Once upon a time we all had justice
Once upon a time we all played fair
And no-one had to slave for anybody
Everybody starting with an equal share
Do we all have the same chance?
If Jah’s not in the government I don’t want one
Mankind cannot govern on its own
Mankind has no right to issue orders
The whole idea is rotten to the bone
Do we all have the same chance?
COMMENT
Pretty much sums up my stand on politics. I believe in God, as in a Creator, and so I recognize and accept Jah as the one authority to rule the world. Since he has no political representation on earth, I gather that makes me an anarchist of sorts, since I don’t recognize the political goverments (although I know that the bastards are there and that I have to co-operate to some degree).
Justice as a divine concept and easily adopted to human life! There’s probably nothing I care about more than Justice. With no superhuman authority, the idea of Justice becomes a brain ghost; Justice depends on who is stronger, who is more, who is richer, whatever. That sort of Justice is useless; it’s just a tag slapped on the state of affairs, by the “winner”, who is just another man or group of men, like the rest of us… the “right” of the “stronger”.
